How do you stay financially focused? When watching movies or tv, sometimes my mind goes down a vicious rabbit hole thinking about apocalyptic situations. Having money would mean nothing then! So some folks have the “live in the present” mindset and spend like crazy because you never know what will happen tomorrow. Well, I’ve always been futuristic. I have a bad habit of delaying gratification. I prioritize my finances because I don’t want to work forever. I visualize a worry-free enjoyable retirement full of travel and experiences with friends and family. I’m banking on that being more likely to happen than Armageddon in the next 50+ years. Gotta stay positive, after all!
